Over $1 Billion Under Advisement
Our institutional clients include charitable associations, religious orders, industrial groups, and educational institutions.
Sensible Fee Structure
Functioning as Chief Investment Officer for our
institutional and family clients.
DHK serves as a fiduciary, advising and investing
from principles that best serve our clients.
We believe the investment industry remains unnecessarily opaque about performance comparisons and fees. Investors deserve complete clarity regarding their portfolios. DHK has been advising clients with a high standard of transparency since 1993.
The overwhelming evidence shows that simpler investment approaches tend to outperform more complex ones over time. DHK invests with this in mind.
We favor index-based strategies to build diversified portfolios. We believe a more disciplined approach gives clients a better chance for higher returns over time.
Sensible Fee Structure
Much of the investment industry tends to overcharge relative to the value they actually deliver. DHK prides itself on maintaining a fee structure agreeable to our clients. We think investors should keep more of what their portfolios earn.
We structure our clients' portfolios with discipline—not by tactical bets or emotion.
“Can you imagine an investment consultant telling clients, year after year, to keep adding to an index fund replicating the S. & P. 500? That would be career suicide. Large fees flow to these hyper-helpers, however, if they recommend small managerial shifts every year or so.”
- Warren Buffett
